| This photo shows handlebar controls. The MAB design uses an engine that powers an automatic transmission for speeds of 0-30 mph on flat ground and has no manual gearshift. A top speed 42 mph was gained downhill while pedaling and at full throttle! |

| This motor assited bicycle (MAB) design uses a 49 cc 4-stroke gas engine with less then 2 brake horse power (a measure at the rear wheel on CR-1's dyno) to meet the legal restrictions of the State of Michigan (where the MAB will be used). |

| The human pedal power drivetrain is 100% independent of engine and it's transmission. It can be used concurrently (or not at all) with the engine so that a rider can still pedal the bicycle but extend carry load, range, and speed with the engine. |
